Teaching Experience:

1997-98 Boston Music Company, Boston, MA

Taught a wide variety of students in private lessons ranging from beginner to intermediate piano and basic theory. Also incorporated required listening lists for students and scheduled live performances to attend with students. Students worked on a variety of literature: J.S. Bach II Part Inventions, Chopin Preludes and Nocturnes, Jazz Standards, Blues and Rock.

1994-96 Volkwein Brothers, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA

Instructed students of wide and varying ages and at many different technical levels. Concentrated primarily on keyboard skills and basic music theory: scale structure, key signatures, functional harmony and jazz harmony. Also encouraged students to improvise and compose within simple structures.
